Katy Perry branded a ‘devil child’ by her own dad, urges his congregation to ‘pray for her’

The Sun reports that Keith Perry urged his congregation to ‘pray for Katy,’ describing her as a ‘devil child’ who was in need of ‘healing’.

Er, right.

Firebrand preacher Keith also tells his congregation that whenever he sees Katy in concert he is brought to tears by fans who worship Katy.

He reportedly told his congregation:“They ask how can I preach if I produce a girl who sang about kissing another girl?

“I was at a concert of Katy’s where there were 20,000. I’m watching this generation and they were going at it. It almost looked like church.

“I stood there and wept and kept on weeping and weeping. They’re loving and worshiping the wrong thing.”

‘I Kissed a Girl’ was SO 2008 Keith, perhaps it is time to move on?

Keith then ends his bizarre sermon by asking church goers to make donations of “not one or two dollars, but 20s” so that he and his wife can move to Switzerland.

We hate to tell you Keith but Katy’s pretty big over there too.

Katy has never denied her strict religious upbringing throughout her momentous rise to fame.

Before she hit the big time, Katy was a regular singer in church.

Of course she stuck to traditional hymns back then as opposed to the raunchy lyrics she belts out these days.
